My friend just bought an '02 Raptor from a dealership in our area. Whenever he mashes the throttle, be it from the start or while riding, the bike hesitates as if the kill switch has been hit and then it begins to accelerate. He has an FMF slip-on muffler, K&N Filter w/o airbox lid, a Hot Cams Stage 1 cam, and it has been rejetted. The dealer is giving him the shaft and he is getting impatient. I know something is wrong because I can out drag him up to 60mph with my BF750 and it's stock. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Clean the air filter and change the plug and go from there. I would want to take the carb apart if it were me just to find out what jetting they put in there. Could be too rich or lean.............[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
