yesterday i took an electric saw and cut about a quarder of my old exhaust pipe off of my raptor so that the baffles are sticking out. there was a huge gain in hp but i think i lossed some top end. it ran fine, but should i keep it like this or put my old pipe back on, will it do anything to the carbs?

 

Try a jetting change and see what happens.

 

Rejet, you've changed the amount of air can go out of the engine. Do a plug check, and try it
