Fact is the blaster is outdated 1970's technology thats fun for the entry level teen rider. They are a great cheap little machine for a kid to learn on but a complete waste of money to mod. you could have $10k into one and still not hang with a yfz or a trx on the track, 5k and barely able to keep up with a 400ex. kids save your money and buy something half fast to start with,

Anyone that regularly rides in the sand would have been able to call this race.
There was two factors that really mattered worth a crap in this one.
1: weight
2: and much more importantly, PADDLES.
Even if the 400EX rider was equal weight, the blaster would have still probably won.
Its simple... paddles launch the quad out of the hole, knobbies sink and spin in the sand.
Not knocking the blaster or anything, but if that 400 had paddles, the outcome would have been different...
(ive owned no less than 2 400EX's, modded one to a 440, and glamis was my only place)
