just wondering about a tach for a 700r, does the 7002 have an IGN terminal because it has the EFI,
if so does this make it easier to find and install a suitable tach for the 700r

How would i hook that EQUUS tach up to a blaster? Could i use the headlight wires for a source of power and then put that thing on the plug wire?

Well there is a good idea. Would the stock tach off a DS650 work on a warrior? Would it wire right up or would there be some modding to do?

The problem with the blaster's power source is that it's AC, not DC like a battery. To get the tach to work you would need a 12 volt battery seperate from the AC system. That would supply power to the tach, but the battery would need to be recharged/replaced periodically.
