raptor 350 and 400ex q's

i posted this in the honda forum also, im jus looking for some more advise so here it goes.....currently i have a rap 350, but i may be able to get a good deal on a trade in towards an 02 400ex. the 400 im looking at is totally stock with very low hours. power is not really much of an issue, but the raptor never wants to lift the front. the main reason that got me lookin to trade is my legs constantly bang into the fenders when ever i lean into the corner( im 6'4", i know im really tall) but when i sat on the 400 it feels more spread out than my raptor is. plus im realizing the jumping capabilities of the raptor and want to be able to jump alot of the jumps i can do on my bike. so my question is, do u think the 400 is better enough for me to go through the hassle of trading my raptor in? i know the quick answer would be to mod the hell out of it ,but i like to keep my quads simple and reliable. any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

if you trade he should be giving you some money or a strait up trade because the 400 is alot older then your raptor
the 400ex doesnt have that much more power then the 350 if you really want a bigger quad the z400 is set up with alot more room to move around.you are really tall though so the big boy quads is what you should be looking at (660, pred,ds,700r)

The 400ex is going to be leaps and bounds ahead in room and performance for you. If you are really into more aggressive riding, you will probably want aftermarket front shocks, but that is about it. The stockers do bottom easily for us bigger guys. I'm 6'2" @ 260lb, and loved racing my 400ex, and actually miss it quite a bit. The 400ex is really reliable as well. May I recomend doing some looking for a leftover new 400ex though......Sometimes dealer discount them very heavily, and you start fresh on a new machine.
