I am ordering a Dobeck TFI controller for my Raptor 700 and i was wanting to know what everyones is setting theres at. I will be running mine with the Spark Arrestor out and maybe the airbox lid of what are the best settings? Thnks Mace

Here's the #s I pulled off Dobecks website;
G=3
Y=7
R=2:30
RPM=9
They recommended that setup to a guy with a stock 700 with removed baffle and no lid.

Thanks.. But what do those colors like stand for i dont really understand the Dobeck yet. But i dont guess i have recieved mine yet to look at the directions but would you know what the colors stand for? Mace

They have a rubber plug on the face of the box. Inside you'll find 4 pods (dials) that are adjustable with a small screwdriver. Each pod has markings on them like a clock and have a light above each one...........I know it might sound Greek now but you'll totally understand it once you receive it and look at it........... ok i'll just wait untill i get mine and do some reading then[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Did you remove the baffle and airbox lid from yours before you got the HMF?

Yeah, I rode it one time without the baffle and lid but I didn't have the TFI till I got my other mods. Even without the TFI I noticed it was faster but I thought it was running on the lean side so I put them back in.
On the TFI, the 4 pods are lined up in a row. The first pod has a green light above it and it controls your fuel at idle and low RPM. Second pod has the yellow light and it controls the mid Rs. The 3rd is the red and it controls the upper Rs sort of like a main jet in a carb. The 4th pod controls when the 3rd pod kicks in (RPM pod)............Once you check it out its pretty simple.
