Boring a Vito's 240 kit?
I'm looking at getting a blaster and found a 2003 with the vito's 240 kit, jetted and piped for $2000. 1st question do ya'll think that's a good deal? And 2nd question, can you bore over a 240 kit when it's needed and how much more does this cost than boring the regular block? I'm guessin it would be more b/c a bigger piston and rings would be needed but am I correct?

I don't think you can. The Vito's 240 kit is a re-sleeve if I remember correctly so that means they used a much larger custom forged piston.

$2000 sounds like a very good deal, assuming nothing is wrong with the quad. I'm not sure about the piston thing, but i'd think vito's would offer overbore pistons so you could rebuld the top end without re-sleeving every time. I'd expect to hear complaints about this if you couldn't rebuild the top end without re-sleeving.

Yeah I would assume they'd make it rebuildable for a fairly cheap price too but I just wanted to see what ay'll had heard.
