Stock for stock 450 is better for MX but if you are going to do any mods at all the Banshee will kill the 450. There is a company out there called Passion racing that has his own porting called a passion 12 port and its a +4 stroker also. Get the shee ported with the 12 port setup, 45mm PJ carbs, 19cc cool head (depending on your elevation on the CCs), V forse reeds, quick sand +1 +2 A arms w/ YFX 450 front shocks. Shocks work alot beter with the +2 a arms that works shocks could ever dream. Cut 2 inches off your swing arm, get a +4 axle. Oh and a set of Rocket pipes. You will then have an 80 + hp Banshee that has arm ripping power right from 1500 rpms and there isn't a YFZ 450 that will touch you on any MX track. I will have to check but I think I was running a 16 tooth front sprocket and a 32 back. Great for MX and the sand. Add a +4 or a +6 swing arm and a 17 tooth front sprocket and you will have the smoothest riding quad you will ever ride and you will be right up there with the alcahol banshees at the sand drags. Let me know it you need anything for a banshee or have any questions. I use to be into banshees hard core untill I got smarter and realized that I didn't need to run 100mph on an atv. Oh and alot of people will tell you that a banshee isn't for trails also, you put a 14 or 15 tooth front sprocket on that passion motor and you will have the nicest and fasted trail bike out there. You will be able to lug it around like a 4 stroke and then open that thing up on the open areas. Good luck and be carful If you go this route, I had a 428 cheeta motor that wasn't near this fast .
almost forgot, when you jump a Banshee the foot pegs feel like they are to far forward. Get a set of warrior foot pegs and put on it they sit back 11/2 t0 2 inshes and makes a more comfy jump.
