Ok i have a raptor 700. I have had many atvs and dirtbikes but this is my first sport atv. I love it, it handles great. My uncle has an 05 blaster so thats really the only sport atv i could compare it to. The raptor handles aswesomely. It goes where you want it to and has nice light steering. I rode it this weekend in trails with about 4-7 inches of snow in some spots. It ran great. Big bore 4by4's wherent even close. I am very happy with the raptor. The power is incredable. I am only breaking it in so i am pretty easy on it but wow is this thing fast. Lean back hit the gas and your up on two wheels. Bottom line great atv.

Ive had a Banshee and YZ 250 before my 700. I like the 700 the best. The power is always there, it handles awesome, very stable in the air, easy cold starting. Its all plusses.
The Banshee never handled well, nor did it jump well. The Banshee with the porting and mods i had done to it gave it an edge in the top end of the powerband, but only there. The Banshee required more maintainence keepin the carbs synched, chain adjusted, mix the fuel, poor cold starting.
It would be nice if you could ride one before you buy. I didnt, but im happy with it.

everything u said about the banshee were the reason why i was afraid to get one. looks like ill X that out of my options, especally since i do mostly woods riding and dont need all that top end.
