Raptor gearing

I just switched the front sprocket from a 13 to a 12 tooth on my 05 Raptor because I wanted a little more accel. It feels like it took more topend than I thought. What kind of difference can I expect if I go bigger on the back sprocket by one tooth? Will I even notice a difference? I want tighter gearing for woods riding but still plenty of top end for more open trails. Anyone know?

Another tooth on the rear will shorten up your gearing further, in other words move you more in the same direction you've already gone. I'f you want more torque to the ground and quicker shifts then it's the right way to go. If you want more top end however you'll want to go down one tooth on the rear, or more realistically switch back to your 13 front and go to a 42 rear. The fewer teeth on the rear the more top speed and less accelleration.

I meant that if I go back to stock gearing up front again, and then go to a one tooth bigger rear sprocket, will I notice a difference since it wouldn't be such a drastic change? That should'nt cut my top speed so much, but will it do anything for acceleration?
