Are these things reusable? I picked one up at the dealer ($15!!!! YIKES!) and it appears to be a metal media instead of paper. Are they washable or should they be replaced?

Yamaha oil filters- washable?
Nope. They are designed to be thrown away. You may be able to flush out the old oil...but the crud and debrie wont come out. The outside shell is metal, but the inside is paper. If youre concerned about cost, buy the super tech filter at wally world for 3 bucks. Its rated higher, and much less expensive.
