Before i go out in the mud i wipe a little cooking spray on the plastic, it makes the mud slide right off

This answer is kinda wiseass but I hadda do it.

Use a water hose and rinse off the mud.

That says how and what.

Everyone else had GOOD ideas.

Is using a pressure washer bad? I did once and it did a real good job of getting that haze out of the plastic from embedded dirt Is my guess. It also cleaned up the blacks real well. I imagine it wouldn't be good to use directly on anyplace where there is a seal though. Pam cooking spray. I'll give that a shot though.
