1998 Warrior Won't Start
 

Just rebuilt it but it is not getting fire to the coil.Has plenty of compression.Any suggestions on why I can't get fire to the coil or how I can fix my problem ???

what exactly did you rebuild?

I'd start by simply looking for loose connections at the CDI, rectifier, and stator. If that all seems ok, look up the stator and pickup coil specs in a service manual (downloadable online for free) and measure the resistances with a multimeter as the service manual will explain.

We rebuilt the motor-new piston,crank,oil pump,etc.It fired fine before we rebuilt it so it's puzzling.We went back and looked at the valves,timing chain,stator and so on but everything looks good.Hopefully it is something simlpe but it sure is confusing.

I'd lean towards the stator being the culprit. It doesn't take much to mess one up if things get bumped around during teardown or re-assembly.
