Default GYTR Exhaust Won't Mix With Mods

Hey everyone, I'm new to ATV Connection and I had to ask a question that's been bothering me. I just had my '03 660 raptor bored over to a 686 with a 12:1 JE piston and stage 2 webcam, port and polish, with pro flow air filter and no airbox lid and the minor stuff, but after it was dynoed the owner said that the exhaust wasn't flowing good enough and told me I needed a new exhaust system (he told me to get a yoshimura system). I looked through the forums and didn't really find anything on which exhaust is best for a modded 686 raptor. I was thinking about LTE, HMF, CT or Yoshi, but I don't want to spend the money on a pipe that will end up not performing well with my mods. Right now it has the stock header on and the GYTR muffler. Please help me out and thank you.

Im also curious about using the gytr exhaust, i put in a 11:1 piston into my raptor and stage1 cam. I had the GYTR pipe and the stock header. the guy doing the work recommended i get a better flowing header to go with the system, i purchased the aftermarket gytr header to go with it and he said it should work. You could probably do the same thing.

i would use ct, or barkers drag pipes they both have great flow. u have a carbs on your machine? i have a 686 with ct exhaust. ct claims there pipes work better the more work you have done to your engine. im guessing barkers are the same.

i have the stock carbs on it and when it was dynoed it had the full gytr exhaust...header and muffler... but wasn't flowing right so he put the stock header back on it....and barkers are great but they seem a little too aggressive...aren't they outside the frame

i just don't want to fall into all the hype about the high horsepower numbers that the companies claim...ct seemed like it would be a great exhaust and lte duals seemed like a nice dual system...i'm stuck between those two exhausts

CT is great, but if you've go the cash go with the LTEs as they'll make more hp.
