Default squeaky brakes on wolvy 07

I've had a break noise that seems to get more annoying..The bike's only a month old..
Anyone else had a brake noise on the wolverine..It does it when the brake is not engaged..(Rear Brake)
Haven't had time to pull them off.Doesn't seem to be brake dust..Not sure if they use metalic pads
on these..I'd rather fix it myself than be without my bike in the shop for something so easy...
Thanks

I have the noise. I apply the brakes firmly for a second and it seems to get rid of the noise for awhile.

Yep same here. I am going to try a different compound brake pad when the stock ones are worn out. Mine squeek with the brakes not on as well. It does help to use them hard every once in a while since it seems to make them quiet for a little bit.

Mine does it from time to time, some days it will quit doing it, but I just ignore it for now, I will replace the pads with some better ones in the future to try and get rid of the noise.

Thanks guys,i guess. Not what i wanted to hear.I've tried to hit the breaks hard, helps for a little bit.
When i'm slow rolling with my son it drives me crazyI dont know much about the pads yamaha uses, but with vehicles it can happen..
Mostly with the metalic compound they use to make them..Didnt see that problem to much with the asbestos one's years back...
Thanks

Is there an e-brake? It might be adjusted wrong and causing the brake to engage.

If we are talking about a 450 4x4 there is no e brake. It uses 'park' in the tranny as a parking brake.
