its a good thing ohlins doesnt make them yet... they would cost 1500 for each front one and 2000 for the back.

I have not used the poly skid plate personnally I have seen a couple of reviews on it but for the difference in price I would just get a aluminum one, you already have a plastic one under there now so I dont see how much of an improvement you could get unless you went to a aluminum or a steel one.
The GYTR exhaust should come with the main jet, but if you are going to modify your intake with a high flow filter or anything else I would either get a dynojet kit(69.00) or get the dial-a-jet system(115.00).

Cool jet kit it is, I have a K&N filter. I bought the poly because it wont break from what i understand. I already have a hole on my plastic one. The GYTR alu. is a bit more. I paid 110$ for the poly. Thanks though ill let you guys know. Going to be riding it real hard in june......

I think for the aluminum one I paid about 120.00 the guys at my local Yamaha dealer are great at keeping their customers satisfied.

IMHO, poly slides much better (and is more durable) than aluminum.

I've never seen the poly type. Does anyone have a link to the web site?

I am not going to buy them as I have the alum already but I am curous to see what the poly has to offer over the aluminum ones. Thanks in advance!

the poly ones are pretty good. i had them on my old magnum. they slide over rocks and logs way better than the aluminum ones, but they can get broken. mine had a huge tear in them from coming down hard on a rock
