Can't decide??/

I want to throw some spacers on the rear of my raptor but I can't decide if I should do 3" or 5". Any pros or cons to either one, does the 3" make a noticable difference etc? I am leaning towards 5" but how wide is too wide? plus I am not touching the front so will 5" be too much with a stock front end?

C'mon I know some of you have spacers? Or had experience with them.

I've heard spacers are bad for jumping.

3" would be plenty. 5" would be too much if you're not using extended a-arms. It would look funny. Its not a good picture of it, but the photo I have called "still unloading", the 3rd bike back is a white & blue Raptor 660 with 5" spacers, and you can see how much wider it is than the front of the 450 behind it.

Well I would go with the 5 inch spacers because i put 3 inch on mine cause i also thought 5 inch would be to much but i can barley tell the difference but i would also work on getting plus 2 a arms also to make the atv more equal

well It would depend on what kind of spacers I was using, the 3 inch spacers are ok if they are stud spacers (better to have the full hub style though). I would not put the 5 inch spacers on in the stud style only the hub style.

This is just for safetys sake.

the 3 inch spacers only add 1.5 inches per side while the 5 inchers add 2.5 inches per side.

Don't be cheap, buy an axle. Adding spacers is just asking for problems if you ride hard. Just my 2 cents.
