Twin Air Filter That is the filter for it but thats not what it actually looks like. the new filter looks exactly the same as the old one really, just a different color. it fits right over the stock mounting cage too. thats the cheapest i could find one, and if you do get it make sure you oil it up good.

I will try to take a pic for ya tomorrow.

It does look just like the stock type of filter though.

I use PJ1 foam filter oil on mine and always make sure to cover it good and evenly.

PJ1 Foam Filter Maintenance there you go. id get the kit because that stuff cleans the filter really good. what i found works best for getting a nice even coat of oil on it is to quickly spray a decent amount of oil on the filter all over the place, including the inside, and then quickly put it in a big ziplock bag. massage it around untill you are sure everything is covered and then take it out with latex gloves and put it on. you wont even get your hands dirty, cuz that stuff is a pain in the butt to clean up.

oh yeah u1arunit, how do you like those elka shocks. the stock shocks on the wolvey really suck and they bottom out on the smallest jumps. some pics would be pretty cool, but dont bother if you dont got time or anything, i could probably find some online. i wish the wolvey cam with stock shocks like the polaris's. yeah that was the only good thing about polaris's, they had great shocks that were soft but wouldnt bottom out, not matter how hard you took a jump.

They are great. I have about 1300 or so into the whole set. I ordered them direct. Personally, if I were to still have the stock shocks I would have probably sold the quad. The stockers suck that bad. I mean they ride like crap and bottom out if you do even the littlest jumps. Elka or other top end suspension kits make this quad way more easy and fun to ride. Now if only I can get more power I would be happy. lol

I will try to get down to the garage to snap some pics once I clean the quad. The last time we rode it was muddy as hell and I didn't have the time to properly clean everything. I almost always spend about an hour cleaning the quad when I get back but I was being lazy the other day.

I have an 06 that had the same problem, the dealer said the main jet was pluged with dirt. I got it back and it run great till I went ridding thru the mud I started to do it again. I read to check the vent hose, (it was blocked with dirt) and route into the airbox, I did and it ran just as bad. I found dirt in the float bowl and cleaned it out, still no good. I removed the vent line from the air box and strapped it to the airbox snorkle. Running great again, I think the air suction from the carb had the same affect as the vent being pluged.

On another note: I took a pair of stock raptor 660 front shocks and put them on WHAT A BIG DIFFERENCE!!! $30.00 on ebay. Now I need something for the rear.
