Get some toomey t5 pipes and silencers v force 3 reeds ,drop a tooth on the front sprocket, run premium fuel,k&n air filter ,and buy some maxxis 4-snow tires, and it will run just fine if sand is where your running that is,

CPI Inframes or Shearers are a better drag pipe. (both high top-end pipes)
V-force 3 reeds are good for throttle response
I would go up a tooth in the front. (the more power you have the further you want you gears to be for less shifting)
You only need premium fuel with increased compression for example - a milled head and port and polish. If anyone tells you otherwise they are ignorant.
K&N air filter will help
What terrain you ride in will determine the tires you need.

We need as much info as possible. You did provide us with some but we need more. Pipes and and air filter are always a good first step.

yeah cool head was supposed to be in my list,he doesnt want a straight drag pipe,so toomeys will be just fine, and premium fuel makes every bike i have run noticably better,

Add these to the list above: shave the heads and port and polish them and port the cylinders to match. That will give you more power and keep your engine reliable. But, in my opinion, its hard to have a good race/trail Banshee. You almost need two Banshees. Once you start messing with the engine, you're asking for problems. I used to trail ride with guys that had drag Banshees, and we were always having to pull them out of the woods. And these were some nice bikes, too, not no junk. But the way they had their Banshee's power set up, it was either all or nothing. You could be just creeping along and barely tap the gas and then you're holding on for dear life. They were a deathtrap in the woods! I wish I would've left my Warrior stock, cause now every time I ride, Im the one with problems!

A motor with work done will only give you problems if the work was done wrong.

I think what he meant was that they're too fast for their own good..I would definitely believe that. A drag banshee is not a trail banshee.
