How do ya'll think the banshee would stack up against these new modern machines?

LOL everybody is going to say differ man your just going to have to see for yourself and i dont mean this in a bad way but peeps that own the raptor or going to say the raptor peeps that own the banshee are going to say the banshee and so on and so on............... like me my friend has a yfz 450 and and the other has a banshee the 450 doesnt even hang with us but the banshee its 50/50 some times i win some times he wins but thats just me and it also comes down to how you ride
having said that look what its going to start !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

 

Give us more information. Where are these bikes gonna be ridden? How are you comparing them? Suspension? Motor? Convienance? What is the size of the person riding it?

 

The YFZ didnt even hang with you... Must have a pretty sh!tty rider on that YFZ!

 

The Banshee will never stack up against the 450 or the 700. $hit, the banshee wont even stay with a 400ex. The banshee motor is awesome, if you can keep it runnin, but the anchient chassis is terrible. Nose-dives like crazy in the jump and the ergos suck. Its so much easier to drive and ride the new wheelers their not even in the same class.

 

Not only that but I’ve seen YFZs and Raptor "700"/660 drags locally on asphalt and it’s honestly a toss up. I have seen the YFZ beat the Raptor and the Raptor beat the YFZ (not by much in either ones favor). The YFZ has a clear advantage over the Raptor when it comes down to power to weight, they produce more HP, rev out farther and faster, and are just quick as h3ll!! To say that a YFZ "can’t even hang with you" would be nothing short of a fallacy in my mind based off of what I have witnessed/experienced. You have a pipe and air filter for "performance mods" and the rest are aesthetic/protection related and further adding weight...

All in all I’d have to say I have witnessed the YFZ take the local Craptor 660s/Raptor "700"s more times then the Raptor(s) have taken it. The YFZ just flat out halls and so does the "700" (but the 450 is quicker); they are both very fast bikes and are capable of hanging with each other.

So unless your friend on that YFZ weighs 400LBS, has cement bags roped to the front of the quad, sucks at riding, or is jetted horribly I don’t see his YFZ "not being able to hang” with your Raptor.

Ok i knew this was going to start some thing so did you read what i had to say everybody is going to say differ and i did have my k&n filter and so did the banshee the yfz did not but if you seen how bad we beat it it did have a full exhaust and i have a slip on like i said it comes down to the riders like I posted and yfz are not that much faster then the raptor for being 50 lb lighter they dont even beat the raptor in the long run but read my post again EVERBODY IS GOING TO SAY DIFFRENET i know cause i have one how about you ?????????

On the track its all about the 450's, the trail is all about the 700 and as far as straight line racing goes we all know damn well that the Banshee still holds its own.
