I believe its up by the seat... If you follow the wires back you should find it. I belive the wires are brown and blue, but that may just be because mine is muddy as hell

I have a 1999 grizzly that just recently started smoking..i started it one day and it just poured out blue smoke...it seems to clear up after a few minutes but if u let it sit for a few hours or especially overnight, it smokes pretty bad. Does anyone have any idea wut could be wrong. i just got it and havnt rode it much, i changed the oil, filter, front and rear gear oil, and air filter. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

i dont think too much, i put 2 quarts in when i changed it, and the manual called 2.1....also it has to be using it pretty good cuz i rode for about an hour and the site glass for the oil was full when i started and i checked it yesterday and nothing was in it....... so i dont wanna run it anymore till i change the oil again and see how much comes out....i'm thinkin i got ripped off on this bike tho cuz i've only rode it 2 times since april or may when i bought it cuz its had one problem after another

Sounds like your just burning off the oil. Mine only smokes for a minute when its extremely cold out but otherwise its fine. Definately sounds like somethings not right. Open up the airbox and see if thats full of oil. That happened to me one time.

seems to be over filled with oil.. Yet I only put in 2qts. Its possible it didnt all drain out. After I hydrolocked the motor a few weeks ago I had to drain everything and its been good since.

Mine didnt smoke much at all. Check that though. Otherwise I would think you have oil getting somewhere it shouldnt be in the motor and its burning it off as you ride it.
