2001 350 warrior performance upgrades
 

i here the warrior goes around 60 top speed.and i was wondering if there was some bolt ons that actually add some real power.and is so.what would they be and how much could i get.i dont want it all top speed with no up hill power.like would a exhaust and intake do anything or is that just a waste.

You can't get any real power out of a Warrior.

I have a bunch on my warrior now I have more money into it than its worth trust me just get a bigger quad

Yeah, you can get some things to add more power. A good slip-on exhaust, K&N filter, re-jet, cam, piston. All that stuff will help, but it's still not going to have the power of todays newer quads. I wish I would have sold mine and bought something else. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but the HP per $dollar is WAY low!

Are you serious? The 446cc kit that mickey sells has been proven to have around 42 hp to the wheels, with his cam and other bolt on's. You can't tell me thats slow...and I bet you could smoke alot of quads. Now factor in the money you spent and I'd say it would be better just to sell it and move to a "better" quad. But to say that it's slow or have no real power after doing what you have then I'd have to second guess what kind of work you have done to your warrior.

Both these kits will give you about 8 more hp then you have now with a good exhaust and clamp on style air filter with no lid.

I never said it was slow, but I have almost maxed this motor out and I'm still getting beat by the newer STOCK 450s. I stopped counting how much money I have in this thing at $4,000. I can't sell it for that. Yeah I didn't have to have a durablue axle, or a-arms, or shocks, or the Raptor conversion, but if you're gonna do it you might as well do it right. And I have beat all the 400EXs and LTZ 400s that I have raced, but I could have bought a used 660 or YFZ 450 for $3,500-$4,000 and had a bike that was already faster than mine, newer than mine, better suspension than mine, and worth what I had in it. On the other hand, I do like to be the underdog and I like to see the look on peoples faces when they just found out there highly modified 400s just got beat by a Warrior. But, if I did it all over again, I would not dump so much money in a 1997 Warrior.
