2001 YAMAHA YFM350FXN
 

Hello can anybody point me in the right direction with this problem. Everytime i shift into reverse my 350 stalls. Some tell me there is a safety switch that needs replacing but no one can agree were it is or what it looks like!! The bike idles nice and strong but as soon as you get halfway between forward and reverse you can hear a click from the relays at the back and the motor dies. Any help is appreciated cause the local Yamaha dealership won't point me in the right direction unless they get the labour rate to fix it.
