07 grizzly 350 won't start, HELP

Did this just happen out of the blue? Was there something that happened like a crash or driving under water? I would suggest checking the choke. If the cable came disconnected you might not be able to start the quad and everything would seem normal.

it all started with the coil and wiring harness shorting out .i replaced the harness then the coil.there was ALOT of gas flowing into the breather tonight."when all this first started a forgot and left the gas on for the past 2 months"

i haven't had it running since.i recieved a manual and checked to make sure all the electronic boxes are recieving power.using a voltmeter,i put it all together.i grabbed the plug and have fire to the plug.
while turning over trying to start i pulled the lid off of the breather and removed the air filter and gas was flowing into the box.i shut the gas off soaked up gas with a rag and then drained the carb bowl.it was then to dark to mess with it further.

It sounds like you are saying that there is a lot of gas flowing where it shouldn't. Is this flooding it out? If the gas is left on for two months and the carb float allows the gas to flow in, the gas evaporates and is replaced by fresh gas. After a while things can build up over time. Maybe the float is stuck open. Maybe crud has accumulated in the carb. I wonder if there is a safe way to turn the gas off and then "spray" a little into the carb to see if it will start and run for a couple seconds. Maybe just turning off the gas and trying to start it. If there is too much gas flowing in maybe when the gas in the carb is depleted it will start and run for a second.

i used to have similar problem like that with my 86 moto-4(gave to ym brother yesterday), and i would pull the plug out and pour a LITTLE BIT of gas down the hole, put the plug back in and she would start right up. i would have to do this everymonth or two. it's probly not your problem though especially with 21 year difference between the two.

the stuck float, better known as the needle valve being stuck, may be your problem. it's most def. something wrong with the carb considering you left it for 2 months, prolly bad gas gumming things up. Try cleaning the carb...if you spray a little starter fluid into the air inlet and it kicks over and runs for less then 10 seconds before stalling, you know it's your carb and it'll prolly just have to be cleaned, no biggy. If it doesn't kick over then it's electrical, you said you had spark so it should kick.

haha, btw the float isn't known as the needle valve, i'm a dumb a$$ the float's connected to the needle valve, the float is what makes the needle valve go in and out to open and close the action...just wanted to correct myself b4 someone else does :-)...ps don't do that starter fluid thing more than once...it's really not the best thing for your engine.
