Why doesn't Yamaha offer a standard(stick shift) model Rhino with the foot clutch, and the shifter?

Because it uses an atv engine that has a cvt transmission.

If they had pulled the motor out of a road bike or a car then it might make sense, but not with an atv engine.

Jeep makes something similar, it's called a wrangler. You can get a used one for fairly cheap.

A stick shift rhino would be cool though, although there's probably not enough of a market to make it worthwhile to the manufacturer.

And there isnt even demand for manual or semi-auto quads in the 4x4 department. They replaced the Wolverine 350 a true sport/utility ATV with a sporty looking kodiak with an automatic. Thats just not where the market is going

yeah, apparently somewhere along the line all the manufacturers got the idea that everyone wants a damn cvt automatic in their utility or 4x4 quad. The only automatic quad I even remotely liked was the neighbor's Rincon 650, which has the real transmission in it with a torque converter, and optional push button shifting, which is pretty cool. I think that adds a bunch of weight though.

find a rhino with a blown motor and swap in a FST 446 version of the big bear 400 or wolverine 350 engines. Add a turbo charger and you have a 5 speed sequintial version of what you want. Convert the semi auto clutch to full manual and hold on.
