haveing problems shifting when i shift into forward it jumbs. some times when i am shifting in to rev it wont engage, and it makes kinda like a grinding noise like it is allmost in gear but not all the ways. it is still under the three month warranty so i will probly just take it in unless it is just a simple fix. please give me your advice.

The only time mine will do that is when I don't engage the break all the way. It's got to be in pretty good before it will shift cleanly. Might need an adjustment. Just a thought.

You arent touching the throttle at all, or have the choke on when you shift do you? If the bike is revving up at all, it will cause it to do this.

nope not at all, but it kinda sounds like it might be ideling a little high would that cause the problem? and all so what do you guys think about the reverse problem that i told you about? when i try to put it in reverse it sounds like it is grinding, an it wont go into reverse. so i shift it into forward and then back into reverse and it work?

Ok what I would do is adjust the idle first off because your idle will be a little lower when your in gear so that makes sense that it would go into reverse allright then.

There is a little thumbscrew on a hose beside the carb and that is your idle screw you might give it a half a turn to lower the idle and see if it shifts into reverse all right that way and if it shifts into gear and does not try to die. If it tries to die take it a 1/4 turn higher and see if everything works right then.
