Wolverine 450 - top speed & dynojet ???

Default Wolverine 450 - top speed & dynojet ???

Hi !

Top speed for my Wolvie was 83 km/h (stock)
After installing DynoJet kit top dropped down to 79-80 km/h...

WHY ??? any ideas ?

or too lean, you need to jack up the rear, run it wide open for 30 seconds, and shut the ignition off and bring the tires to a stop as quick as you can. then pull the plug and read it. there are alot of good places on the internet to help you read your spark plug.

That's possible too. Usually if your too lean you get sum backfire too rich it'll feel sluggish. Jetting is something I wouldn't have messed with unless you added a pipe and/or changed up filter or airbox. You won't have much, if any, performance change if any from solely a jet kit.

Exactly! Sounds like it's too rich. Just a hair lean is the best performance if I'm not mistaken.

try taking the baffles out of your exhaust and take air box lid off. should make a little difference. my brother in law has an 07 459 wolvy and he put a k&n on it. seems to be runnin a little faster.

I'd keep the air filter on, maybe run to the max w/o air filter lid.

a hauck clutch kit will fix that right up =)
