Default Need new camshaft - stock or hotcams?

So I just got my 350 warrior motor rebuilt, did two 30 min break in cycles, then on the third time the starter just kept turning but the motor didnt do anything. Anyways took the timing cover off and realized that the washer in between the camshaft sprocket and bolt was never put back on.

So the little dowel pin decided to pop out and break off the part of the cam that the dowel pin goes in. LAME!

So the real question is, is it cheaper to get a new setup from my yamaha dealer or get a hotcams stage 1 setup? the hot cams kits go for around $140-ish on ebay, and the stock yamaha's msrp is "SeeDealer"-which sucks because they are closed tomorrow.

Also do you guys know if the hotcams setup comes with a new sprocket, dowel pin(if needed) and bearing?

I would go with a stage 1 Hotcam over factory. The factory cam is $124, the sprocket is $28.20, the pin is $ 0.76, the inner bearing is $11.85, and the outer bearing is $13.81. The Hotcam should come with the pin, but not the bearings. I found this info at ronniesmailorder.com on their online microfiche http://www.ronniesmailorder.co...che_section_detail.asp

I just grabbed a stock cam/sprocket/dowel for $40, otherwise I'd jump all over that! ... I might email you later on that cam though, thats a good deal!
