250 Timberwolf mods Qs
Hey, first time here so I figured I'd ask a couple questions about the 1995 timberwolf my uncle gave me a little while ago. First, before I actually ask anything I have to say that for a 250 (actually 229 according to the stamp on the engine) this thing flys.
All right first off, I just rejetted it with a 107.5 for the main jet and a 22.5 for the idler. It made a huge improvement over the stock of course. I can go about as fast at 1/2 throttle as I could at full throttle before I rejetted. I also have an aftermarket pipe on it as well as a simple airbox mod.
What I was wondering is whether or not it would be worth taking the snorkel off of it completely and making a slightly larger hole?
I was also wondering if there are any other worh while mods to get a little more top end out of this thing?
