Default Rebuilding a warrior 350 engine tips and advice needed

Whats up all! I have always had a Warrior and never got into the engine I have had ever thing else apart as riding hard (and sometimes stupid) breaks stuff, I had a 1995 and I took the engine apart put new rings and stuff and had problems with the chain and getting the timing right, I have the repair manual but it was never 100%, now I have a 2002 and the engine is apart, the local shop I go to said to just bring it in and they would rebuilt it but I like to do it myself, any info on rebuilding do's and don'ts would be great.
