Default Wet Wolvie -NEED SNORKEL!

My son and I took a trip to Wagon Wheel and only 30 minutes into our ride I found a really deep mud hole. It looked innocent enough but quickly swallowed me up over the seat.

After 45 minutes we got it out of the hole. Pulled the plug, cranked the water out, drained the air box/float bowl and dried the plug and air filter. It cranked and ran but I quickly found out that the engine was completely full of water.

Bottom line is, I want to tackle that darn hole. I won't let it get the best of me but when I go back i want to be prepaired. Nobody sells a snorkel kit for the Wolvie 350. Mine is a 2000 I think, 4x4, blue with racks on the front and back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't know where to start. Where do you route it, what materials do you use? How do you get it to connect to the stock air box? does it require re-jetting?

make a snorkel out of PVC pipe. check this thread out. it is about the custom rear rack, but the quad has a kickass snorkel on it as well.

Great find! I guess the back would be better...more room. I guess I would just need to block off the stock location between the seat and the tank? I also would need to put a better seal around the air box. I think after a few years it's starting to give out.
