Just ordered my full Skid Plate set!
I finally gave into myself and bought the Ricochet full Skid Plate set for my '09 Wolverine. I saved a good $30 as well with a coupon code that I found on the web.
I bought the kit from www.utahsportcycle.com
If you are planning on buying something from their site and you would like the code, please shoot me a PM.

Yeah thank you so much. Not only did they seem like the best skid plates around, but with the coupon code I got the best deal around as well. Can't wait to get them installed and start taking on the terrain without having to worry about my inards exposed.

Ricochets are some of the best out there.. they are made from 3/16" (0.1875") thick 5052 AL plate... Most OEMS (Yamahaha included)/ Others are made from Wimpy 1/8" (0.125") 5052 AL Plate.
If I didn't have the resources available that I have .. I would buy Ricochets Skids for Sure!
But I have access to mechanical engineers and a sheet metal shop :-) So I mock up skid plates using card board.... then my buddy draws them up in CAD and then all I need to do is buy the 3/16" or 1/4" 5052 AL and the shop cuts and bends the skids to the shape / size I need! I love it because I can have 1/4" Skids for a lot cheaper The only drawback is that it may take 2-3 months to get the skids back.. .hence the reason I have 2 of them already in the "when I have time" pill for the sheet metal dood
