This may sound like a dumb question but do you think it would be possible with engine mods to cram a SRX snowmobile engine in a Banshee?? I was looking at it at the Yamaha website, that thing has to fly!!!!

Sure. Given the materials and knowledge, you can do anything!!

I'm not saying I'd want to. I'm just saying can you imagine that on wheels. I've heard great things about that snowmobile. It's supposed to really fly!! Something to really look into for the winter months!! No harm intended!

if u want a quad that flies put the engine from a the redline revolt 1300 on it. thats real speed. add alky carbs, nitrous, turbo then get ready to die heh heh.

No!!! It will $uck. Way too wide (unless you change from CVT to standard gearbox/clutch).
I have a shee and a 440 sled, and my dad had a VMax4 sled (4 cylinder 2 stroke 750cc). I simply measured the width of both engines...I can't remember what excatly it was, but the 440 twin was already too wide (except for a drag racer). Figure about the 4...3 is right in the middle.
