I used the oil filter cover, spacer and bolts off of an early big bear and a power steering cooler that i got from jegs auto racing products (www.jegs.com) and had the lines made at place that does hydraulic lines

Hey oldwarrhorse, how did that work out for you? I have a modified warrior that is running hot, and I need to come up with a solution. Does your oil cooler installation look really clean? Where did you buy your oil filter adaptor from? Where did you mount the cooler itself? Do you know if it cut down on your oil pressure in the process? Anyone else with info on this subject, your input would be greatly appreciated. I heard four stroke tech has a kit for the warrior, but it requires sending in the right side case for modification. What are all the options available?

Not posative if its the wolverine that you get the parts off of, but one of the 4x4 quads oil cover swaps right over to the warrior, All you need is a small rad and the lines. Cheap and effective, it also looks good.

the big bear parts I got from an atv salvage yard listed in the back of dirt wheels, I forget which one I called most of them before I found the part. I did not get the big bear hoses because this salvage yard did not have any good ones, the hydraulic hoses and fittings cost approx. $30.00. I mounted the cooler on my frame about 3 -4 inches above the top mounting bolt on my brush guard. I mounted the cooler and hoses with heavy duty 1/4" wide black zip ties they work better than metal clamps, the job looks very clean. oil pressure seams to be just fine, after the install I ran the motor and added oil to bring it back up to the full mark most of the oil will run out of the lines but the cooler will retain some. My warrior is an 88 with alot of HIPO work and 2000 plastic.
