Terracross or XTR's?
 

Looking into some new tires for my grizz. I ride hard and fast, mostly hardpack, so I'm leaning towards the terracross, but I wanted to get some opinions first. Only reason I'm really interested in the XTR's is they probably perform a little better in deep snow, which is another important factor for me. Plus they look cooler, but that's beside the point. Anybody had the Terra's in snow?

I've heard a few guys talking about the Terracross as being good in the snow. I'm also leaning towards the XTRs when I get rid of my worn out OEM tires. But, I ride where there is bound to be mud no matter what I do.

I purchased the ITP Terracross and have had them for several months. Great in all terrain (mud, sand and rocks) and vastly improved handling over the stock tires. Also the tires look quite zesty.

I highly recomend these tires and would purchase again.

I ended up getting the XTRs. I haven't been out in snow yet but in every other condition they are fantastic. I went through headlight deep mud/waterholes with no issues and through wet mud that got kicked up by logging skidders. Went through everything and also climbed up steep rocks without any spin.
