Never gotter more than about 6 in. on my 4wd t'wolf, any help would be nice. i tried it on my dads bigbear2wd worked a little better but not much. does the hold up the shifter,rev and drop technique hurt the transmittion? Also what gear should i use.

well, its goin to be really tough because you got a 4x4 with a little motor. If you want to be able to do wheelies and stuff like that, then consider getting a new quad.

Sounds like you bought the wrong quad for your style of riding. That could be a costly mistake. I wouldnt recomend wheelies on 4x4, good chance of smoking the tranny amungst other things. Sell it and buy a sport quad.

Yeah i realize its not great for that kind of stuff but for now its all I got. Hopefully buying a polaris scrambler this summer and selling the t'wolf, I would love a true sport machine but need the 4wd. The scram should do just a LITTLE better for this kind of stuff. I just couldn't afford one when i bought the T'wolf a few years ago.

Saw this in Dirtwheels awhile back. With an autoclutch machine, you hold the shifter up like you're going to shift, rev it up and let the shifter go. Sort of like dumping the clutch with a manual clutch machine. It works. Probably doesn't do the drive train a lot of good though.
