Yamaha Breeze 125 won't stay running, HELP!
Hope someone can help. I have a 2004 Yamaha Breeze 125 for my grandkids that has sat for a long time. I bought it new in '05 after it had sat on the dealer lot for a long time and the same thing happened but they fixed it. It will start and run (at a high RPM) as long as the choke is pulled out but as soon as the choke is pushed back in it dies. Of course, it can't be put into gear at the high RPM. The dealer took the carb apart and cleaned it out under warranty and that fixed it the first time. This time it's sat for a couple of years in the garage so I took the carb off, took it apart and cleaned everything with carb cleaner. It started right up after that but still does the same thing as soon as the choke is pushed in.
Anyone have a link to an exploded view of the carburetor or any ideas? It appeared to me that I was able to sqirt carb cleaner through all the ports but maybe I missed something or maybe I need to make some adjustments. Thanks in advance. |

I figured I must have. Thanks for the answer. Any idea where I can find an exploded view of the carb online so I know what I'm looking for?

Here is a general carb. Carb Cleaning
This will show you what the jets will look like. Squirt all passages with carb cleaner and make sure the cleaner comes out of all passages. |
