i have a yamaha banshee, that fires every 5 kicks and when it does start it wont open up i give it some gas and it bogs right out n wont pick up i put a new stator n coil on it im so fustrated with it so if anyone has an idea plez reply i have an idea its electrical problems or the flywheel idk?? help!

Ya man the tors system needs to come off... Id doesnt sound like u know much about it so i would buy a book for your machine also.. Read it... But 2 me it sounds like your reeds are cracked as on any 2 stroke thats the first thing id check if i were having that problem....

hey i have a 2001 yamaha banshee and i just took the tors system off the tops of the carbs...and i installed the vito's kit and still bogs in every gear and will not idle compression is 130 psi per cylinder...i got the kit with the two carb caps drill bit and idle screws they are installed....

Go through the carbs. sounds like they are dirty. make sure the choke tube is in place between the carbs. clean out all the jets. do each carb separately as some of the carb parts are side specific. you can also check to see that they are adjusted the same by looking at the slides into the intake. they should open at exactly the same time if not it will bog and be very hard to get onto the powerband.

Clean the carbs out first of all. Maybe your getting to much gas too. But if you have your tors on still that's most likely your problem
