I can't remove my clutch
I'm trying to remove the primary clutch off my yamaha timberwolf and it won't come off what appears to be the crankshaft. There is an 1 1/8 bolt that holds it onto the shaft and I have already removed that. According to the clumsy manual you just slip it off the shaft put I have put vice grips on it and pulled so hard the bike was on two wheels. I heated it with a torch until it was sizzling hot and still nothing. Did I forget to take something off? Here is a picture of what I am dealing with. fbd3b7bc.jpg picture by ericjanks - Photobucket

Have you removed the lock washer?

If it's like everything I have worked on it has a tappered shaft; and they need a puller to get off.

Well it's off... I bent the hell out of the metal in the center though.
