Yeah, I cannot wait either...Are you going to do any kind of racing or anything, you might want to check this out

they only require number plates, I am going to at least go check it out, mabe even race! Looks like fun though, kind of laid back... Wating for info in the mail... Looks like a good time at the least :)

Why wait till the snow melts? Get that 660 out there and throw some white roost! We have more fun in the snow than in the summer.

Another plus is when everything is frozen and covered in snow your bike stays nice and clean. We had 4-5 inches last month and we had a blast!

Have fun!

Well try roosting when you get 2-3ft at a time. You do a constant roost.(in one spot) Even with a 4x your screwed unless your riding on snowmobile tracks. I do like riding in the snow but we have been getting creamed with snow this year. Im with the raptor guy. Bring on spring!

yeah bring on the spring. I love snow but im tired of it. You cant get up enough speed in it to make any big jumps or have any great races....

Ive been riding every 2-3 days or so this winter... only on a major snowmobile trail :) its fun but hard on the little blaster :( the cool thing is the blackwaters REALLY fling the snow bigtime, when Im on the snowmobile trails there is usually a 5-10 ft roost :) the other day we got pounded with snow and I took the blaster out on the trails, was going like 5-10 mph in 5-6th gear pinned and at one point I looked behind me and noticed the snow was going like 8ft in the air and 20 or so feet long! it was great... first time Ive been able to roost like that with the blaster! Think it was cuz the snow was sticky?

Hey there Brokemybanshee. Do you have any good areas to ride off Rt 17 between you and Oquossoc?
I'm looking for some good woods trails to explore

WhatRULookinAt Mar 13, 2001 08:57 PM

Yeah, man, same here. Once it's summer and I'm out of school, I'm going riding EverydaY!

DevRay Mar 13, 2001 08:59 PM

Man if I were you and I had a tricked up Raptor, id go somewhere where I could ride1 I wouldnt be doing any waiting.

brokemybanshee Mar 13, 2001 09:27 PM

Well, RT 17 is right down the road, I assume you are talking about the Rangley aera? I rarely ride up there, though where I ride is only 30-40 minutes away... I mostly ride in my hometown its small, no PD, the people are cool and I can pretty much ride where ever I want including the road :) you do NOT want to try that in the rangley aera.. cuffed and stuffed.. Pretty much anywhere you ride in maine is good, though I try to stay clear of the law when on my quad.. there is a vast landscape, the best and the worst... Alot of my riding is old roads and dirt roads, a couple sand pits, and lots and lots of MUD..

Duhh... diddnt see you were from maine! lol! I ride between Rumford and Farmington.
