Yamaha Moto4 YFM350ER tire question

Hi, I just bought two new tires for my Yamaha Moto4 YFM350ER. The original tires on the ATV were Bridgestone Dirt Hooks AT25x12-9. I bought a pair of new Carlisle Trail Wolf tires. Once the tires got here I realized they are a lot lower profile and a couple inches wider. Why would the tires be so differently shaped if they had the same dimensions? It looks like the new ones would give awesome traction, but they might make it ride closer to the ground. I don't know if I should return the tires or not. The ATV is at my relatives house pretty far away, I was just going to change the tires and bring them back. Do you think the tires would work or should I get some that are closer to stock shape?

You have to remember, you are comparing a used, mounted tire to a new one, the new one sits "flatter" because it is not on a rim, which will pull in the sidewalls and make the tire "hump" in the middle, increasing diameter, also, when aired up, the tire will take shape and resemble the stocker more. A lot of tire manufacturers have different methods for tire numbering, often varying an inch or more, thats why its so important to match tires front and back on 4wd quads, so you dont bind up the drivetrain by running dissimiliar tires with mismatched diameters.
