kodiak 400 backfiring
 

I have a '98 Kodiak 400 4x4 with a snow blade. Today after about 3 hours of pushing snow it developed an intermitant back fire through the muffler. Every thing was fine up till then. I'm thinging maybe an airleak in the intake manifold,any other ideas?
