I know this subject has been here before. I am thinking about putting some Renthals on my Raptor and want your opinion of what bends do most of you have? I don't have any others to compare to so I thought I would get your opinions. What is the most difference most of you look for height, width, pullback? All opinions appreciated.

The choice of bars is a purely subjective & personal one, depending largely on one's riding style. In my case I ride mostly two track technical trails with rocky uphills and downhills and few straights but many 90 degree or greater turns. At my height of about 5'10", the stock bars had too mich rise and pull back to ride in the correct position. I put the Renthal CR #722 bar on my Raptor, which is the same bar I have had on my Warrior for a year. If you tend to ride on the pegs and like to get up on the tank in corners, you may like them. They have a lower rise (about 2 3/4") than atv bars which allows the rider to assume the proper body position for agressive riding. The pull back is less also(2 1/2") which allows one to get up on the tank for technical uphills, keeping the front end down. I've used Renthals for years on bikes and have good results. If you get a Renthal or other brand, be sure to follow mounting directions regarding the clamps and do not over tighten them. Only 17 lbs of torque is recommended to avoid crushing or weakening.
