09 grizzly stalling

The other day I installed a winch on my grizzly. I took it out for a drive a few days later, it seemed to be running fine. Then I drove up a small incline (about 50 degree angle), it immediately backfired and bogged, eventually stalling out.

I started it back up, it managed to start, but any throttle input immediately stalls it out. I was thinking it my winch installation might have caused this, but I doubt it, it's most likely from the sudden incline.

I've been tinkering around with it for a few days now, sometimes it won't start at all, when it does start it only idles for about 5 seconds before stalling. During those 5 seconds I didn't see any check engine light or diagnostic codes show up on the pod.

I pulled the fuel line off the pump and stuck a gauge on there, the pump is putting out about 40 psi with the key on, seems normal to me.

I've read there is some kind of rollover valve/switch somewhere, the repair manual only mentions it once, and with little details. Searching around, I haven't been able to find anything about it, where is it located? Other than that valve, I don't know what else to check, any ideas?

What model? Did the check engine light come on? If your atv spends alot of time idling i would change the spark plug. If its black replace it!

Its a 700...I took the plug out and cleaned it, and tested the spark, which was very strong

no check engine light, but I was thinking it needs to run longer to trip it?

Even though you cleaned the plug I would get a new one for sure. Next put your kill switch to the NO run position, now with the key in the off position hold down the top 2 buttons on your dash, turn key on, once you see diag release top 2 buttons then hold them down again for 2 seconds, now cycle till you see #62 if it's zero thats good if not what # is displayed?
