2000 Kodiak belt air duct
Ok,
So, I was working on my 2000 Kodiak. Let's just say the last trip out was a bit rough on it. Anyway, as I was disassembling the front end the belt cooling duct was loose at the clutch housing. I was able to pretty easily remove it. However, now that I am reassembling the wheeler the duct just does NOT want to go back in. Does anyone have any tricks/tips on the correct angles, or do I need to basically tear the machine apart to put it back now? AK Chappy |
That is a common problem on those. I bought some car radiator hose the same size and used that to replace the stock one. It took alot of cussing to get it on but I never had a problem again. It is good to check it once in a while to make sure though and to check that the clamps are tight.
