Banshee problem
 

I have a 2006 banshee I took it out to the dunes this weekend and it over heated so I shut it off and let it cool, I didn't ride it for a few hours so it could cool down. When I turned it on it was fully rev'd and it wouldn't come back to normal it's been like that for the past 3 days I can't get it to stop revving on ignition I don't know what's wrong with it. Any suggestion?

Well first off disconnect your tors box, which is to the left of your ign coil forward of your head, they cause alot of crazy problems. Then make sure your slides arent stuck open or anything, you should be able to hear them slide up and down and make a little thump when they go all the way down when using the throttle. Lastly it could be leaning out sucking in alot of air from somewhere and hopefully not a seal.

2 years ago I over heated my banshee when one of my spark plugs quit. turn my left pipe blue it got so hot! But I would check your slides like he said. that's happened to me before
