Default How big is to big for a 350 4x4 tires?

I want to get tires for my 350 Grizzly/Briun it has 25"X 8" wide fronts and 10" wide backs now.
I,m thinking of XL Mudlite 26"x9 fronts and 26X10 rears or maybe 26x12" rears.

I,m concerned about over whelming the the little guy with to large of tires since the the ATV is only a 350 without a low range and has steel rims.
I do not care about top end loss but do not want a smoking, slipping belt in the deep stuff.

I do not want to get into a clutch kit over this as well.

Thanks.
