07 big bear 400 need help
hey everyone
I am new here and to the atv community. I am looking for some help on a few things. I have a 2007 yamaha big bear 400 4x4 irs. When I bought it, it had been sitting for about a year in a garage. It was running pretty crappy, so I drained all the old gas out. Then removed the carb, brought it to a reputable shop and had a new float needle and bowl gasket installed as well as a clean up on the carb. I re installed the carb and put a new spark plug in, however I am still having some issues:
First off i am getting air "popping" out of the intake tube that sits under the seat, the quad seems to run, drive, and idle ok though? When Idling it does die down quickly but recovers quickly as well
The right side of the crank gets very hot, not sure if this is normal, I am not all too familiar with atv's. I have not heard the oil cooler fan kick on and that crank case seems to get pretty hot
Any and all help is appreciated!
