Kodiak 400 snorkel
 

I made a snorkelfor my 97 Kodiak and when I put it on it is very boggy. I know I need to rejet but I'm not sure what size jet I need and what the stock jetting is for my quad. Any help is appreciated.

The factory main jet is a 105 according to the factory specs, but it's always a good idea to double check before ordering a new one. The snorkel kit might require you jet down if it's restricting air flow more than the factory design.

The factory airbox looks restrictive to start with. Unless you're submerging it in water I would just run an Outerwear over the filter and call it a day.

I made the snorkel bigger than the stock one so it is getting more air than normal. Would it be better to get a dynojet jet kit or just buy bigger jets. Has anyone ever tried a dynojet kit on these quads. Do they perform well

My suggestion would be to just buy different jets for around $3 each and pass on the jet kit unless you're not comfortable trying to figure out what jet sizes you need for yourself. I've looked at jet kits before and IMO they aren't worth the money because you can buy bigger or smaller jets and a different needle if you want for much less than a jet kit costs. If you look on the Dynojet website their jet kits are selling for around $59 and you can buy jets for around $3 each from places like Rocky Mountain ATV or Dennis Kirk.

If you've added airflow then you're probably lean and need to go up on the jet size.

Alright I'll definitely just go with buying my own jets. I'm really into mechanics I had just heardo good things about the dynojet kits
