2016 Yamaha Kodiak 700 4x4 - Wheels and Tires

Hey guys I am looking for some ideas for my Kodiak. I would like to see some pics of wheel and tire combos that you have.

Also I would like to hear about some tire sizes that you have gone with on stock rims.

I am looking to possibly go with an aftermarket set of wheel and mud tires for when we are out ridding, but then keep the factory set for lite trail riding and just around my town. I have used Bear Claws in the past and was impressed with them.

Can't wait to see what you guys have done.

Thanks, Phil

You might be the only person is here who has a Kodiak 700. They haven't been around long.

I see, well if anyone has any of the previous years post up.

Take a look on Grizzly Central for some pics, a fair amount of Kodiak owners there.

Probably a good place to look, i used to go there quite a bit back when I had my Grizzly 660. The Kodiak and new Grizzly 700 wheels should be interchangeable.

Yes. There are not that many differences between the two bikes (Grizzly/Kodiak) for 2016/17. Although I though I recall understanding the Grizzly sits a tad higher than the Kodiak so that may change someone's "view" of new wheels/tires. CVT is weighted differently and some options differences too.

And per GC, yes, there are a lot more Yamaha utility quad riders on that forum, a good group who are fairly active and lots of excellent information.
